1. Introduction & Overview
FallGuard Pro ("the App") is a specialized life-safety application designed to detect high-impact falls and automate emergency rescue protocols. This Privacy Policy is designed to provide full transparency into how we collect, use, and protect your information.
2. Specific Data Collection & Permissions
The App requires the following sensitive permissions to function as a safety tool:

3. Data Retention & Deletion Policy
Google Play requires that we disclose how long we retain your data. Our policy is as follows:
- Local Personal Data (Contacts/Medical ID): Stored securely on your device's internal encrypted storage. This data is retained indefinitely until you manually delete it within the App or uninstall the App.
- Dynamic Sensor Data: Motion data (G-Force, Rotation, Altitude) is processed in volatile RAM. It is not stored and is immediately overwritten every few milliseconds.
- Emergency Location Logs: The App does not maintain a server-side history of your location. Location data is only "stored" in the outbox of your device's native SMS application as a record of the sent alert.
- How to Delete Your Data: You can wipe all App data by selecting "Reset to Factory Defaults" in the Settings menu or by using Android's "Clear Data" feature in system settings.
4. On-Device Processing (Edge AI)
To maximize user privacy, FallGuard Pro utilizes On-Device AI. This means your physical movement patterns are never uploaded to a cloud server for analysis. The computation happens strictly on your CPU/NPU, ensuring your daily routines remain private.
5. Data Sharing & Third-Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Your data is shared only with the emergency contacts you have explicitly selected, and only when an SOS event is triggered. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs (such as Facebook or AdMob).
6. Children's Privacy
FallGuard Pro is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete the information immediately.
7. Security Measures
We use industry-standard encryption for local data storage. Furthermore, sensitive sections of the App (such as responder lists) can be locked behind your device's Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint/Face Unlock) to prevent unauthorized changes to your rescue protocols.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal/regulatory reasons. Users will be notified of significant changes via an in-app update or through the Google Play Store.
