Terms of Service for WaveLink Pro

Welcome to WaveLink Pro. By downloading, accessing, or using WaveLink Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Peer-to-Peer Nature of the App
WaveLink Pro is a decentralised, peer-to-peer (P2P) mesh communication tool. It relies on local hardware connections (Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth) to transmit voice and data between devices physically near each other. We do not provide network infrastructure, servers, or cloud storage. Consequently, we cannot guarantee message delivery, connectivity range, or network stability, as these depend entirely on your device hardware, environmental factors, and peer availability.
2. Appropriate Use
You agree to use WaveLink Pro solely for lawful purposes. Because the network is decentralised and encrypted end-to-end, the developer has no ability to monitor, moderate, or remove content transmitted between users. You are solely responsible for the audio, text, and data you transmit through the App.
- You may not use the App to facilitate illegal activities.
- You may not use the App to harass, abuse, or transmit malicious code to other users on the mesh network.
3. Emergency Services
CRITICAL WARNING: WaveLink Pro is NOT a replacement for traditional cellular or landline telephone services. It cannot be used to contact emergency services (e.g., 911, 112, 999). Because it is an offline, peer-to-peer tool, you must ensure you have alternative communication methods available if you require emergency assistance.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer explicitly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Mesh networking is inherently susceptible to physical interference and device limitations.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer, its affiliates, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.
6. Modifications to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We may also revise these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes. By continuing to access or use the App after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
