1. Local Network Operation

CoreStream is designed with privacy and security as a core principle. The Android application and the PC Agent communicate exclusively over your local network (Wi-Fi/LAN). We do not use external servers to route your commands, hardware statistics, or application data. Your data never leaves your home network unless explicitly configured by you in future remote-access features.

2. Information Collection and Use

The CoreStream Android app collects and processes the following information locally:

• PC Hardware Statistics: CPU, GPU, RAM, network usage, fan speed, temperatures, and FPS. This data is streamed directly from your PC Agent to your Android device for display purposes only.
• Installed Applications and Games: The app requests lists of installed software (e.g., Steam games, Start Menu shortcuts) from your PC Agent to populate the Stream Deck buttons.
• Process Information: Information about running tasks to provide Task Manager functionality.

None of this information is transmitted to us, third parties, or any external servers.

3. Permissions

The CoreStream Android app requires specific permissions to function correctly:

• Network Access (Wi-Fi State & Internet): Required to discover your PC on the local network and establish a connection.
• Local Storage (Optional): Required to save your customized Stream Deck layouts and preferences on your device.

The PC Agent requires Administrator rights on your Windows machine to read hardware sensors accurately (such as temperatures, fan RPM, and disk activity).

4. Data Retention

Because CoreStream does not collect data on our servers, there is no data retention policy on our end. Your custom layouts and settings are saved directly on your local devices. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the Android app or clearing its app data, and by removing the PC Agent configuration files from your computer.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your local network access. CoreStream employs a PIN Security System for pairing. This ensures that only authorized devices that have been explicitly paired can view your PC statistics or execute commands. However, remember that no method of transmission over a local network is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

CoreStream does not use any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising frameworks. The software is completely free of trackers.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
