PC & Laptop Repairs Taunton
Diagnostics, repairs and upgrades for PCs and laptops.
What I Can Fix For You
I've been fixing computers for years — from slow machines to virus infections to hardware upgrades. Whether it's your home PC or a small business laptop, I'll diagnose the problem, explain what's wrong in plain English, and fix it properly. Based in Taunton, TA2 — available evenings and weekends.
Diagnostics
First, I'll figure out what's actually wrong. Quick fault-finding to identify the issue — then I'll explain what needs fixing and give you an honest price.
Virus & Malware Removal
Got pop-ups, slowdowns, or weird behavior? I'll clean it up properly — remove the nasties, get your system running smoothly again, and show you how to stay safe.
Operating System Installs
Fresh Windows install, Linux setup, or Windows Server — all with drivers, updates, and basic software. Your machine will feel brand new.
Software Setup
Need Office installed? Antivirus configured? Specialized software set up? I'll get everything installed, licensed, and working properly — so you can just use it.
Data Recovery & Backup
Lost files? Dying hard drive? I'll do my best to recover your data. Plus, I'll set up a proper backup system so it doesn't happen again.
Hardware Upgrades
More RAM, bigger SSD, or simple component swaps to make your old machine feel faster. Way cheaper than buying new — and often just as good.
Pricing & Turnaround
Call out £35 (charged whether or not you go ahead with the repair) Pay £35 Securely
Typical turnaround: 1–3 business days (depends on what needs fixing and parts availability)
Not sure it needs a repair yet?
Describe what it is doing and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth a repair, a remote session, or nothing at all. Costs you nothing to ask, and I would rather say so up front than take a booking you did not need.
Areas I Cover
Based in Taunton (TA2) and covering the surrounding towns and villages. The call out is £35 across every area below, with nothing extra added for distance — pick yours for local details, or just call and ask.
Wellington & TA21
Seven miles down the A38. Rockwell Green, West Buckland, Nynehead, Sampford Arundel and Milverton.
Bridgwater & TA6
Homes and small businesses, with out-of-hours work available. North Petherton, Cannington, Puriton and Woolavington.
Wiveliscombe & Rural TA4

Common Repairs in Detail
The three jobs I get called about most often, each with what it actually costs, how long it takes and what to do before you bring the machine in.
Laptop Screen Replacement
Cracked, black, dim or lined displays. The panel decides the price, so you get a real figure once I know the model — not a guess over the phone.
Virus & Scam Popup Removal
Fake "your computer is infected" warnings, browser hijacks and ransomware. Often clearable remotely the same day.
Data Recovery
Photos and documents off failing drives and dead laptops. Stop using the device first — that matters more than anything else you can do.
